5:23 Naaman said, “Please accept two talents of silver. ¹  He insisted, and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, along with two suits of clothes. He gave them to two of his servants and they carried them for Gehazi. ²

7:13 One of his advisers replied, “Pick some men and have them take five of the horses that are left in the city. (Even if they are killed, their fate will be no different than that of all the Israelite people – we’re all going to die!) ³  Let’s send them out so we can know for sure what’s going on.” ⁴

11:18 All the people of the land went and demolished ¹¹  the temple of Baal. They smashed its altars and idols ¹²  to bits. ¹³  They killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altar. Jehoiada the priest ¹⁴  then placed guards at the Lord’s temple.

21:7 He put an idol of Asherah he had made in the temple, about which the Lord had said to David and to his son Solomon, “This temple in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will be my permanent home. ¹⁵
